Humanity faces a massive global challenge. The COVID-19 pandemic is rapidly changing the way in which we experience education – from schools and universities to museums and alternative learning centers.
In the context of a diminishing economy and a state of emergency, CRIA is activating its networks, keeping cultural workers connected amidst the crisis, and offering creative responses to the challenges that are arising in art and education, the environment, gender, indigenous peoples, neo-extractivism, feminism, and human rights.
Facing this extraordinary situation, other creatures begin to appear — creatures that sustain themselves through collectivity, that reinvent themselves in isolation, create counter pedagogies through action, build utopias, and stumble into evolutions.
