Loreto Garin Guzman (Valparaiso, Chile 1977) studied Fine Arts at the ARCIS University in Santiago, Chile and Philosophy at the UBA (University of Buenos Aires). She is a visual artist, performer and free thinker. Along with her artistic practices, she develops curatorial projects and works as an educator and coordinator of artistic projects. She is a co-founder of Etcetera (1997, Buenos Aires), a multidisciplinary collective that was awarded the Participatory Art Prize in Emilia Romagna, Italy in 2013 and was a Laureate of the Prince Claus Fund (Holland) in 2015.She is a founding member of the International Errorist Movement and is responsible for the coordination and management of Etcétera’s activities and archive. Since 2013 she has been president of CRIA.
